What are CD only products?
CD only products do not include any books or manuals. You receive the CD media kit only (actual CD software to run license purchased).
What does CAL stand for?
A Client Access License is a licensing model allowing a per server or per seat licensing mode.
Per Device Licensing: Clients have a set number of devices connected to a licensed server and need a sufficient number of CALs to cover each of those devices.
Per User Licensing: Clients have a set number of users that connect to a licensed server and need a sufficient number of CALs to cover each of those users.
What is a media kit?
A Media Kit includes: CD-ROM, diskettes, or other physical product containing a software code to run your license. Typically, media kits are not included in license purchases under Volume License Agreements and is sold separately.
What is software licensing?
A legal document from the product manufacturer that gives your organization the right to install software on more than one computer.
Do I need to buy a software license for every computer I own?
You are required to buy a license for each computer you intend to install the software on.
Is your software authentic?
Our software is 100% authentic.
What is the difference between a full license and an upgrade license?
A full license is a license purchased for the right to use a single copy of the software where the user is not eligible for an upgrade discount. When no previous version of the software exists on the computer the new software is intended for, then the user is not eligible for the upgrade license and must purchase the full license. An upgrade license allows the owner of a given software product to purchase the next version of that product at a discount.
What is the difference between an OEM license and an Open or Volume license?
An OEM license is the software license purchased and pre-installed by the manufacturer or builder of your new computer. An open or volume license is a software license purchased separately to be loaded and run on your existing computer.
How do I know if my order went through and is being shipped?
All orders, once completed, create a confirmation e-mail message for your records that you can print out immediately.

How can I tell what price applies to me?
The product search page has a column titled "Pricing" that denotes what type of pricing is available for that product. Some products have more than one listing, be sure that the price category applies to you (i.e. nonprofit, academic, healthcare, military/government, etc.)

What is a cookie?
Ordering online requires you to accept cookies and is only a small text file that is written by the site you have visited. We only use cookies to track the course of customers traveling through our Web Site. This is a standard procedure when ordering from any online store. How do I return an item?
You must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number in order to begin the process. Simply contact us at our RMA department, or (800) 342-4222, 8AM to 5PM, Monday through Friday. All exchanges and returns are subject to Consistent Computer Bargains Return Policy. (link)

CCB's Search lets you find a product/s by manufacturer, product category and/or keywords. When using the search function, use the most descriptive word/term possible. Using simple words such as "the" and "ms" will produce inaccurate findings. CCB has over 200,000 items from more than 1,200 manufacturers, but not all are listed online.
